Teachers' Day Celebrated on 5th September, 2018 : Mata Gujri College celebrated Teachers' Day by honoring the retired teachers of the college.On this occasion about 15 retired teachers from various departments of Mata Guri College were honored for their remarkable services and contribution towards the development of the college. Speaking on this occasion, Director - Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh , said that the young teachers should learn from the experiences of these great teachers. He said that a teacher should not remain confined to teaching but should play the role of a nation builder by developing the overall personality of students and inculcating moral values among them.
On this occasion, Prof. Sadhu Singh Panag (Retired), Former Head of English Department shared his experiences with the audience. He motivated the young teachers to work for the development of the college and to develop an emotional attachment with the students.
Prof. Pritam Singh Lugani, Dr. Surmukh Singh , Prof.Harshwinder Singh and Prof. Gurdarshan Singh also shared their experiences with the audience. They remembered their memories associated with the college and inspired the young teachers to work for the betterment of the students, college and the society. Prof. Jagdish Rai presented the vote of thanks.
Prof. Ashraf Ali,Prof. Naresh Kumar Gupta, Prof. Wassan, Prof. Harbans Singh, Prof. Shital Singh Tiwana, Prof. Gurparkash Singh Sandhu, Prof. Hari Om Sharma, Prof. Bhupinder Singh Bajwa and Prof. Ashok Sood (retired) graced the occasion.
