Mata Gujri College student Pragati Dubey gets research project from Indian Academy of Sciences
Pragati Dubey, a BSc Agriculture Part II student in the Department of Agriculture, Mata Gujri College, has received a research project from the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore under the 'Science Academies Summer Research Fellowship Program for Students and Teachers 2020'. Progress has been awarded this research project for environmental research.
Director Principal Dr.Kashmir Singh said that it is a matter of great pride that our students are becoming a part of national level research programs and research related to environment is the need of the hour to address environmental issues.
The head of the department, Dr.Dilip Singh said that every effort is made to make the students of the Department of Agriculture a part of various research programs so that the students can acquire practical and research knowledge along with their studies.

B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture student Mr. Keshav Menon has been selected for Masters degree in the upcoming academic term in University of British Columbia, Canada, which has a world ranking of 30 and 17 students were selected across the globe and Keshav Menon is the only who got the opportunity. Before proceeding to Canada Keshav met Director-Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh, Dr. Bikramjit Singh, Coordinator Agriculture Dr. Harjeet Singh, Head of Agriculture Department Dr. Dilip Singh Kachwaya, Dr. Sandeep Kumar and Dr. Naveet Kaushal, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Ravinder Kumar and Dr. Harish Chandra. They all blessed the student for the success in his assignment and safe journey.

University of Queensland, Australia has invited Sahil a B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture student of Dept. of Agriculture, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh sahib for research studentship at Center for Crop Science (QAAFI).
